UBC Thunderbirds fended off a 4th quarter rally by the UofA Golden Bears to win the Canada West Men's Basketball Championships last night at the Saville Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.
UBC had to take out the top 2 seeds for the win, defeating the Calgary Dinos (2) last weekend in Calgary.
UBC and UofA head to Ottawa (March 6-8) for the U-SPORTS Final 8 series.
