It was a wild start for the Golden bears vs the Cougars, with the Bears out scoring the Cougars 6-3 in the 1st period. Cole Sanford recorded a first period hat-trick (And added an assist in the 2nd) to finish the game with 4 points and the #1 Star of the game.
The game ended with the UofA Bears victorious against the MRU Cougars at 7-3
The Golden Bears will being playing at HOME again next weekend (Jan 17/18) vs the Lethbridge Pronghorns
